Objective

My objective is to continuously expand my knowledge in computer science and apply it by making use of the latest technologies available.  I am also interested in developing my skills in all security related areas. My future objective is to become a highly qualified software developer and to work in a very competitive software company.

I am developing accounting programs in VB .Net. I have completed an accounting application from the design process to the customer deployment and technical support.

I developed an ERP solution for securities firms. The solution relies on ASP.Net 2.0, C#, SQL Server 2005 and Web Services. My work was focused on transactions processing and feedback from the stock markets connected to the solution. Also, I handled some custom web controls, data entry UI parts, logging system and error processing. I actively took part in the solution and database design for some areas in the system.

Spring 2007 – present

Responsibility: student, Microsoft Student Partner (since September 2007)

As a Microsoft Student Partner, my role is to help students in our university get closer to technology. I did this by organizing a C# course and together with my MSP colleagues, presentations on Microsoft Technology. Some topics covered in the presentations were: Hello world demos in various programming languages (Using Microsoft Academic Program), LINQ (Academic Tour v4).

LINQ to Reflection

In August 2007, in the Microsoft Community Bootcamp, I have presented an application on the LINQ and WPF technologies. It was developed by me and another colleague. I created the module used to interrogate assemblies via LINQ.

Lecture on C# 3.0

In July 2007, for a 3 weeks period I held a lecture on C# 3.0. Some elements covered in the course were: new language features in C# 3.0, ADO .Net, LINQ.   At the end of the course, participants had to present and deliver a project that was based on the course. I coordinated some of the projects.

In 2007, I have developed in a team of 2 an authentication and authorization client-server application having as guidance material the Kerberos protocol.

3D Cross

In 2006, I have developed a cards game together with 3 other colleagues. I handled the game AI module.

I was one of the High School’s debate team members. I have participated in various debate contests and organized 2 debate contests in our High School.
