Microsoft Student Partner Summit v1.0

During 25-26 of September I was one of the Microsoft Student Partners invited to take part in the version 1 of the MSP Summit. This event brought together for a few days MSP’s from all over the world in order to learn more about the upcoming Microsoft products and technologies, in order to help improve the Microsoft Student Partner program and to create an opportunity for the MSP’s to interact with each other. This was an excellent opportunity for me to get to to know several other interns from all over the world and to learn more things about different cultures.
During the summit, we attended several presentations like:

Scott Guthrie presented the summit keynote and he spoke about the future of some Microsoft Technologies. We also had some workshops where we got to work on various problems together with Microsoft employees and we also took part in some other very interesting presentations about various non technical aspects of the MSP program. From all that I’ve learned I can say that there are several very interesting upcoming Microsoft products and technologies and that I am looking forward to playing with them.
After all this work it was only natural to have some fun and during the night we had parties organized for us where we were able to better interact with other interns and some Microsoft employees. There we played several games on the XBox 360 console, we had dinner and talked about a multitude of subjects.
All in all it was a very nice experience and I think that this event was a major success. I am looking forward to the reiteration of the event.
